The first draft is completed. Well, was completed… Three days early. I’ve never met a deadline before. That’s not true. I’ve met professional and academic deadlines. I’ve just never met a personal, self imposed deadline before.
It’s nice.
I feel all accomplished and crap.
So I told myself that I couldn’t draw more until I finished writing, which means there are a lot of art ideas floating around that have to come out before I start with rewrites. Did a little picture of the Hudson ladies. (left to right: Allison Hudson, Nicole Hudson and Zoe Hudson)
Love the family resemblance and the seriousness of them all. They look like they belong together.
Though I am big fan of Zoe’s narrative, I have to admit how much I love Nicole. She is such a bad ass kid. If I had read this story when I was a younger Foley, I would have had a total hero crush on Nicole. I would have had a standard sexy crush on Zoe. Can’t lie there.
Wrote a novel before turning 30. Not too shabby an accomplishment.
