this maybe be why i was so confused…

by Ponyo. a very cute and great docile movie. strange to see after Basterds… but hey, we are all contradictions. i totally was only able to parse LOVE as romantic love. so i felt a little weird about the movie.
...does "the trial" end in a wedding?

i guess it’s actually about SIBLING love and protecting your family. i get it now. but at the movie i was weirded out by MILK talk.

    I haven’t seen the movie yet, so I’m a little fuzzy…. is that a hamhock on top of a wedding cake? If so then I think my kid will want one too.
