AELLA

"I never intended to ever come home..."
I don’t draw things often where I feel “THAT’S IT! I got it. That’s how she’s supposed to look.” This one I am very happy with. Aella is the main character in a comic/movie/fever dream I am trying to get out of my head and onto paper.

That’s fantastic! What would/will the comic be about?

it’s about sister going home on the eve of her younger brothers funeral and accepting his life debts. she has to pick up where he left off… it has a lot do with religion, doubt and personal salvation. their people live a really long time, multiple life times, so she’s young by their standards and old by other beings standards. it’s long and complicated…

it’s one of those stories where the storyteller feels both excited and freaked out by it.

    She’s beautiful. And sad.

That’s what I was aiming for. Glad you liked it. She’s tough but kinda broken inside… I like that about her.

I really like this, especially they eyes. It makes me want to know her story. Best of all I’m glad you did something that made you happy!

Liking it really is the best part. she’s pretty expressive and her character depth really came through.
Thanks for looking at my stuff.
