i’ve been taking a look at project waldo. i am super impressed with the layout and atmosphere. the colors are great. since i have a hard time with background information in comics, i decided to do a little homework.
i took one of the panels and tried to do the background information. then i added in some of my characters from a little (long) story i am musing.
people are not really a problem for me… and neither are cats. but organic backgrounds w/ atmosphere are. i will continue my homework. i need to get some weta illustrations from LotR.
in other news, anne enjoyed her first NFL game. Steelers vs Titans. it was exciting. won in overtime after a screw up by wideout Hines Ward. poor kid tried to turn a perfect catch into extra yards and a TD. ball got striped with 50 seconds left. lucky they got the ball first in OT and drove down the field to a field goal. Coach Kettle has this to say to the upset Mr. Ward.
even if you coughed up the ball like you had swine flu.
